We are super excited to run Spring term 2026 at Langley Park Primary school starting the Spring term from your child will be introduced to beginners knit and crochet techniques, finger knitting and sewing up to make and design crochet/ knitted toys/accessories. The classes include all materials including yarn, trimmings, embroidery thread, buttons and the children take their projects and yarn every week to complete at home.

This term will be focused on crochet fluffy pastel arm warmers, mini patchwork blanket, t-shirt yarn accessories, Easter motifs, Spring knit and crochet plants, Tulip scarf and flower plushies. The children can also bring and make their own projects to the club

Knitting is great for children and adults, it encourages their creative futures, helps build life skills and encourages relaxation and boosts concentration and focus. At the heart of the South London Knit Club is creativity.
