Terms and Conditions
Enrollment.
Once you have purchased a class online you will be sent a registration form to fill in to before the class. This is an important from which include at least one emergency contact number on it.
Please contact thesouthlondonknitclub@gmail.com. If you have not received this before the chosen date of your class. Classes are booked on a first come first serve basis if the places are booked up on the website please email to be added to the wait list for when spaces become available.
Payment
All payments must be made before the start of the class by purchasing on the website which specifies the time and date.
If you wish to book a block of classes in any term period please pay by BACS below clearly stating:

Drop offs/ Pick ups
Please ensure your child is dropped off and collected promptly to ensure your child's smooth experience for the class.
Photography
Some classes will be photographed for website, social media purposes if you wish to opt out please specify on the registration form when registering.
Snacks
Drinks are allowed during the hour session, small snacks are also allowed, please ensure your child brings water bottles & snacks fully labelled so it isn't misplaced during the session. the South London knit club has a NUT-free policy in snacks.
Behaviour
If a child is causing some disruption to the class they will be given a warning in class, if the class is being fully disrupted parents will be contacted to collect their child before the end of the session.
First Aid and DBS checks.
All tutors and assistants/ volunteers will have a valid enhanced DBS check and first aid certificate completed if you wish to view certificates please enquire. A first aid box will be available on site including treatment procedure which will be followed in the event of accidents during the session.
Safeguarding Policy.
All tutors have safeguarding training in place. Safeguarding training is regularly reviewed every 6 months and updated. All volunteer and support staff are shown safeguarding policy when starting to work with us, the DSL for the south london knit club is Claire who will raise or share any queries with the education setting/schools the club works with.
Absences.
If your child is sick and unable to attend Knit Club on a session, Please inform us via email - thesouthlondonknitclub@gmail.com. Unfortunately due to the pre ordering of materials and stock for your child for that session we are unable to issue refunds for a place that has not been filled due to sickness.
Refunds Policy.
The South London Knit Club reserves the right to ensure spaces are filled for sessions taking place during the term. Therefore for any reason your child is not able to attend for the remainder for the term due to external or personal reasons we are unable to issue a refund due to the place being booked and materials and prep that have been made for the child's place.
Tutors and Teaching assistants.
All Tutors and teaching assistants are practising working artists/ graduates/ creative business owners.
Personal belongings
The South London knit club is not responsible for your child's belongings please ensure everything that belongs to your child is labelled clearly. Public Liability Insurance is for the company only and is not responsible for third party property on site.
