About us

I'm Claire and I started South London Knit Club to help kids & adults bring crafting and fun to life and get creative in exploring the art of knitting and crocheting.

I studied BA Hons Textiles at Central St. Martin's and have 20+ years experience in fashion merchandising & visual merchandising and teach part time at the Fashion Retail Academy Online for Apprenticeships for a variety of high street/luxury brands. 

Knitting is a great way to improve focus and concentration. Crafting builds confidence and supports development in a creative future for your child. 

These fun creative classes range from creating different techniques of Pompom making to knitting and crocheting fun projects.

Your child will receive a tote bag and folder to keep their patterns in to bring to every class alternatively they can work on their own patterns or projects in the session. 

I have used Knitting For All guidance and support in hosting knitting classes.The knit and crochet patterns and makes are all designed by myself in my knit studio at home for kids and adults and I have put together a host of exciting classes and hope you will join me on this fun journey!
